This is the blog for all the stuff I want to post that doesn't fit in my fairyhedgehog blog.
Those kittens are adorable.
oh they're so sweet. Did you adopt these kittens or are you fostering them?I fostered 5 kittens along with their feral mother last April. The kittens were a treat, the mother, another story.
Hi Lisa! I've only just spotted your comment, sorry. They are ours and they are really sweet. I would hesitate to foster feral kittens - I'm glad they weren't too hard to look after, I can understand why the mother was!
The kittens weren't actually feral - only the mother. The mother was being fed by an elderly woman, one night the mother ran into the woman's home and gave birth. She called the Pat Brody shelter the next day.The cats were super social and adorable. They adopted quickly.I DID foster 4 feral kittens November 2007 - they were found outside, gopped up eyes, quite ill, thought to be about 4-6 weeks old. When ended up adopting all of them. They were so cute with their ity bity hisses. My avatar is Scarlett. I've been highlighting my kitties on my blog You can set your blog up to email you whenever someone post. Let me know if you'd like instructions.
Adorableness. If I were closer I'd want one. I'm sure the existing cat (and dog) wouldn't mind!
I've tamed some feral kittens before. It's far easier than taming a grown kitty, let me tell you. I caught them in a borrowed havaahart trap and just handled them with thick gloves for a while over the course of a week and they tamed down well. They were about 8 weeks at the time, just weaning.
So cute:-) It made me smile.
